He just came to drop off a big parcel. Had to come in the house because it's heavy. I answered the door with my 8 month old in arms. He was super sweet, talking to my baby and said he was a cutie. Apologised for waking him. He looked back (twice) as he was walking down the drive and smiled. I went all silly and couldn't get my words out.

And now he's gone and I have no idea who he is. But, we definitely had a moment.

Argh. AIBU to want to track him down? 🤣 I feel so ridiculous right now. Opportunity missed.

I know. I'm acting like a 14 year old girl.

If he was interested I think he would have asked for your number

avocadochocolate · 14/06/2019 12:41

Well you know UABU but nothing wrong with a moment of fun. It makes the world a better place.

gloriagloria223 · 14/06/2019 12:47

I figured he didn't because I was holding a young baby 🙈

You don’t even know if he is single TBH you would sound unhinged

GimmeBread · 14/06/2019 12:55

You sure you didn't have a boob out? 😀

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 14/06/2019 12:56

Order more stuff!

netflixlove · 14/06/2019 12:57

That's sweet OP! I'm guessing you're single? Maybe order something else from the same place and hope he turns up againWink

herculepoirot2 · 14/06/2019 12:58

I’d definitely take a couple of days to think this one through. He was nice and maybe a bit flirty, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be Shock by you ‘tracking him down’.

Claw01 · 14/06/2019 12:59

Tracking him down/stalking what’s the difference! Grin

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 14/06/2019 13:03

No delivery driver is going to be asking a woman her number on the job. He could get in all sorts of trouble and lose his job if the woman complained to his company.

Enjoy the fantasy for 5 minutes then get on with your day.

TheDarkPassenger · 14/06/2019 13:13

I love those moments!

BigRedLondonBus · 14/06/2019 13:13

My sister was asked for her number the other day by the Argos delivery driver

Rainbowknickers · 14/06/2019 13:32

I work with a guy like this
He charms every woman and man he comes into contact with-I’ve seen grown women fall at his feet
I’m not saying he’s awful but he is a bit of a cad who just enjoys the flirting and the chase
I’d let it go but enjoy the memory

KC225 · 14/06/2019 13:37

I used to have flirty flirts with the UPS man. Whats not to love , a smiley maan turning up on your doorstep with stuff you WANT.

ZaraW · 14/06/2019 13:38

Enjoy the moment and move on. It's not as opportunity missed.....

PeoniesarePink · 14/06/2019 13:42

We've got a yummy new DPD driver.

I sit at night wondering what I can order that comes that way Grin

He's also a good 20 years younger than me so it's kind of obscene Blush but hey it's rather nice to dream about.............

gloriagloria223 · 14/06/2019 13:55

I'm not ACTUALLY going to find him and stalk him lol.

Funny someone thinks I'm unhinged! It was a very lighthearted post...

BigRedLondonBus · 14/06/2019 14:04

Well who knows on here. There was a thread on here recently about a plumber and the op wanting to (seriously) track him down and posters were actively encouraging it so maybe you were hoping for encouragement.

pantsville · 14/06/2019 14:06

Unhinged! Yes OP seek counselling for your dangerous behaviour and I hope the delivery driver logs it with 101 Grin

AddictedtoCrunchies · 14/06/2019 14:57

I had a skip delivered earlier. The delivery driver asked me

"who's going to fill this then love?"

I answered "me".

He said "a pretty girl like you shouldn't be loading skips." Hmm

I said "well it wont load itself."

He then told me he was single, had been for 3 weeks and had moved from his nice house into a single room but it was better than living with an alcoholic with bi-polar.. He also doesn't like eating alone and doesn't have a TV. He complimented me on my garden and left.

I was flattered. But the lack of teeth put me off slightly..Hmm

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 14/06/2019 16:13

crunchies

Lack of teeth... mmm. We had that thread with the sexy builder sho was gnasher challenged. I wonder if he's branched out into skip delivery.

Pipandmum · 14/06/2019 16:15

I would have assumed he looked back because of my baby, not me!

sl07 · 16/06/2019 14:16

He was probably just being friendly? I've had loads of lovely delivery drivers, it's better than getting those grumpy ones.

SlinkyDinkyDoo · 16/06/2019 14:19

Whatever happened to the gappy builder I wonder?
