To Email HR

I'm applying for a fantastic job. I downloaded the application 3 times and there was no job specification.

I emailed HR politely about it to request a copy. HR then sent a rather abrupt email saying they have downloaded it and it is there.

I then sent the downloads I had saved, as an attachment, which clearly show the job specification wasn't there explaining I wasn't trying to be a pain and thanked them anyway and no reply.

HR is in the same office and probably the same people who will sift and interview.

Do you think they will have wrote me off as a candidate due to the above?

No, they won't write you off, it shows that you actually care. However, I'm not sure what it says about the company if the HR dept won't help you...

Just to note all the other advertised jobs including lower grades had in-depth job specifications and this isn't a newly created role.

Go see them in person.

I was thinking that myself, it doesn't bode well, it is a charity and they may be busy & thank you.
