Usual caveat of being lighthearted..I'm not really going to scrap it, no matter how much I want to.
Took some garden rubbish to the tip at the weekend and while I unloaded the bags of garden waste something small jumped out of a bag into the body of the car.
After having an epic meltdown while the wonderful chaps at the site searched my car for the animal I somehow managed to drive home. Though I confess to stopping several time to get out of the car to freak out. It took 40 minutes for a trip that usually takes less than ten.
I did suggest to the chaps that I just leave the car there for them to scrap and I'd walk home, walk for the rest of my life in fact just to avoid the stress.
Partner also searched the car and found nothing. She then took the car to be valeted.
Poised on the edge of my seat, ready to eject at any moment I've managed to use the car to get to and from work.
Car smelt a little damp yesterday, I put this down to having left one of my windows slightly open during the monsoon yesterday.
But OMG this morning when I got into it, the car stank...somewhere hidden in the car there must be the animal and now it's dead and stinking.
WIBU to abandon my car in the car park at work and go buy another one
