Aibu to wonder how much the Scottish Government paid to swamp mumsnet with CAB ads?

I have nothing against the CAB- I think it’s fantastic and those who volunteer are fantastic, but seriously? Two ads per page? Is there no where else the money could be spent?

I was wondering the same thing ! I await with interest ......

If the advertising works then does it potentially save money elsewhere? For example, if people get advice on housing benefit they may not end up homeless which would cost the government more to resolve?

I can see what the Scottish Govt are trying to achieve, but I also see so many things up here that are being starved of funds up here (councils, schools, NHS, roads, rural broadband etc) and I think it might be better spent elsewhere.

Are the ads shown on mumsnet in England too or does it depend on your location?
