To hate the sight of.....

Does anyone have any ideas on ways to hide a modem that won't block the signal? I hate the sight of ours, sticks out like a sore thumb on top of the only piece of furntiture we are able to put it on due to proximity of wall socket and telephone line input.

The router?

Ours is in a cupboard, and you can get a signal on all floors, even with doors closed.

It's quite and old house, with very thick walls, so the signal must be quite strong. Or the floorboards are crap.

Unshriven yes sorry, router...I am old!!! we have awful signal, can't get fibre broadband yet, so in a drawer wouldn't work - I am very envious!

Obviously without seeing where it is stored, it's difficult to give suggestions, but maybe get a pretty storage box from ikea?

Maybe something like that and just don't use the lid?
