To ask for nappy advice?

Not strictly an aibu so please forgive me..

Dd is 15 weeks and 13lbs. Never had an issue with nappies leaking until this week.

Every single nappy has leaked today. This started happening 3 days ago. I sized up to 3’s today and still have the same problem. We use pampers.

Anyone have any words of wisdom or advice? It isn’t likely to point towards a problem is it?

Change brand until you find one that fits properly. Personally I found Huggies to be better quality than Pampers. Others swear by Lidl own brand.

Thanks. I’ll try some different ones.

Really stupid question perhaps (first baby) but is it best to secure the nappy so that the front sits under or over the belly button?!

Buy terries nappies and save the world so your daughter has somewhere to grow up in

Pampers started to leak at that age for my dd. Switched to aldi and they were fab! Never had a leak through to potty training.

Consistent leaks of poo could mean your nappies are too small. Consistent leaks of urine may mean you are not pulling the frilly bit around the legs out.

I put my daughter in size 1s when she was born but they were too big and we managed to get a sample of size 0 from Aldi, so we used those. Then every time she consistently leaked we went up a size. Due to her build and size until recently the tapes overlapped.

We have used a wide range of brands, often havinng two on the go, and haven't found much difference in sizing.

I use Aldi ones for mine 😊
