I'm so frustrated this evening (close to screaming into a pillow!). I've been job searching for the last three months, applied for 8 jobs yesterday, signed up with a few temp agencies for office work and nothing. I rang to check my CV, cover letter and application had been given to the manager and check up on the application for a full time role in retail (I have 3 years experience in retail and trying to move to admin/receptionist work) on Wednesday two weeks ago, was told I was on the shortlist and would be contacted for interview that Friday. Never contacted. I'm doubting online applications are actually read. I've had a few interviews recently to no fruition. I'm so frustrated. AIBU to just want a job?!
