Terrible Experience with a Loaf sofa

I have had an abysmal experience with a sofa I purchased at Loaf. The material that was advertised as "Relatively hardy" marks if the slightest thing gets on it. I took out insurance which was to cover me for "red wine and coffee spills" but has not covered me from crumbs getting on the sofa. In fact the insurance company came to clean one of the seat cushions and actually ruined it (and they have admitted this) as the texture and colour have changed. The insurance company, Castelan, charges you after one visit! Loaf has not taken responsibility for the material and has passed on to the responsibility to insurance. Loaf has offered to replace material of the seat cushions with the same disastrous material that they have advised that you cannot clean even with the most diluted dishwashing liquid solution - that most velvet can be cleaned with - and now it seems that professional cleaners can't clean it either. A sofa is made up of seat cushions and the frame or carcass and I am at loss to see how replacing the seat cushions is actually a resolution to the issues with the sofa that has marks on the material on the frame, and that will have the same problems with the sofa going forward. You literally brush past or drop something innocuous on the material and it leaves a very obvious mark. I would advise anybody NOT to buy from Loaf and I will be taking my complaint to an ombudsman.
