To think animals heal?

I’m feeling a bit miserable today and have had on/off very painful stomach cramps.

Laid down on the bed this morning and the cat came and snuggled down on my chest with me the entire time I was laid down.

Cat isn’t at all affectionate usually, she’s non aggressive and tolerant but virtually never comes for any cuddles or stroking at all.

I like to think she knew I was pained and offering reassurance.

My cat could sense when my mum was going to have an immune system attack. She never cuddled up to her normally - she loved me or her own company!

But without fail she'd stay with her all the time leading up to an attack.

Animals are very intuitive I think.

My little cat is the reason I took a pregnancy test. She knew before I did.

My mums cat does this and she hates people. When my brother and gf broke up she didn't leave his side and when gran died she never left mum alone. But all the other times she dosent want to be near people.

My dog always cheers me up when I'm upset. Just going out with her and playing ball in the park instantly puts me in a good mood. Even having her jump up on the sofa and cuddling next to me makes me feel good.

The only time our cat willingly sits with the DC is when they’re ill, she stays right by them day and night until better. The rest of time she just about tolerates them!

Animals just 'know'.
When I was pregnant, my dog started lying on my belly even before we found out.

My parents and in-laws both have big dogs that like to jump up, but neither dog jumped up me the whole time I was pregnant (again, even before we knew) and instead would wait for me to sit down and then rest their head on my lap to say hello.

My dog also comes for a cuddle whenever I feel sad, tired or unwell.

Animals are incredible.

My dog does this for the whole family, he is the best cuddler, he puts his paws around you, if my daughter’s had a bad day at school he will sit outside her bedroom door waiting to give her a cuddle when she comes out 😊

Don't know about cats but my dog knows for sure, he's even been snapping at his normally favourite person (h) since h moved into the spare room and been hanging out with me instead.
