Spain and spiders?

Hello mumsnetters. Me Dp, DD and DS are going away next year to Spain and was wondering how many of you have seen large spiders there? I have a huge phobia and decided to research dangerous wildlife to be aware of and now i am freaking out. Hoping you lovely mumsnetters will be able to put my mind at ease.

I have the same phobia and can honestly say I have never seen a spider in Spain and we go twice a year to different resorts. Think the lizards sort it out. Dont like the occasional cockroaches but I am not terrified of them like spiders.
