Indie139 · 11/06/2019 13:04

I work in a nursery in SE London

Rates are -0-2 year £57 per day , 2-3 years £52.50 and Preschool is £60 (preschool is montessori hence higher price)

Indie139 · 11/06/2019 13:06

Oh and that includes all meals. Parents just need to provide nappies and wipes

Thehop · 11/06/2019 13:06

West Yorkshire. Private day nursery with loose parts ethos. 7:45-6 day including food drink snacks and wipes is £45.

needsleepzzz · 11/06/2019 13:11

£48 a day, just outside York, open 7:30-6:30, includes mid morning snack/lunch/mid afternoon snack/tea. Wipes/calpol if needed/sudocrem if needed. We supply nappies
5% discount if child is in 5 days a week, which ours is.

needsleepzzz · 11/06/2019 13:16

Ours also includes any trips out/french lessons from age 2 and a toddler yoga type class. Lovely nursery and will be sad when its time to start school :-(

Buggeredpelvicfloor2013 · 11/06/2019 13:25

£42 a day (7.30-6 if needed), all snacks and meals, weekly trips to the park, our nursery offers sibling drop off and pick up too at £5 drop off and £12 pick up (including tea) for under 8s. We are in Derbyshire.

GraceSlicksRabbit · 11/06/2019 16:10

What on Earth is a “loose parts ethos” @Thehop?!

BillyAndTheSillies · 11/06/2019 16:13

Since DS joined the over 3's room/preschool the daily rate has gone down to £65. When he first started age 1 it was £80 a day.
Included nappies, milk and all food.
Now it mainly includes food because he doesn't need the rest of it but they have great lessons that come in, sports, languages, singing etc so I think it's worth it.
Zone 3 east London.

Moominmammacat · 11/06/2019 16:32

In London, £72 a day for two, all food, no nappies. That was 20 years ago and it still hurts!

LynseyLou1982 · 11/06/2019 16:41

Leeds West Yorkshire, 5 star OFSTED rated ours is £50a day 7:30-6pm includes all meals plus snacks. We provide nappies they provide wipes and bum cream. It's a lovely nursery and he loves it there and has developed loads since he started in January.

arganlady · 11/06/2019 21:20

£11.79 a day. 8.30-3.30.

Morning snack is included, we have to bring lunch.

It's going up to £27 for the summer and everyone is up in arms. Grin

arganlady · 11/06/2019 21:22

Oh I'm in the States though.

arganlady · 11/06/2019 21:23

@GraceSlicksRabbit Waldorfy I think.

Nodancingshoes · 11/06/2019 21:29

Our nursery charges £46 for a full day - everything included

Quail15 · 11/06/2019 21:30

Kent/Surrey border. £62 a day 8am-6pm. All food and nappies included ( but we use reuseable nappies which staff are happy to wash for us if we want them to).

idontknow54789 · 11/06/2019 21:49

Wow this makes me very happy with what we pay. £200 for five days 7:30-6 (so £40 a day) includes three meals and all snacks. And we're in East London, Zone 3.

happypotamus · 11/06/2019 21:50

We recently received an email to say from September it costs £57.10 a day. That is a discount because the nursery is based at DH's work and gives a discount if you pay via salary sacrifice. Otherwise it is £61.30. This is in Birmingham. Parents provide nappies and wipes and formula. They provide meals and snacks. It is open from 8am until 5.45pm (you can pay extra for early drop-off). Fortunately, DD is starting school this September, so no more ridiculous nursery fees (though after-school club is also very expensive)

GraceSlicksRabbit · 11/06/2019 22:51

@arganlady thanks for trying to help but I don’t know what Waldorfy is either?! Like Montessori or something?

arganlady · 11/06/2019 22:57

@GraceSlicksRabbit Waldorf/ Steiner schools.

cadburyegg · 11/06/2019 23:06

£66.94 per day for our 4 year old, under 3s is more. Cambridgeshire. 8am-6pm. Breakfast club and some activities not included. Outstanding nursery, very happy with it but can only afford for him to go 2 days a week even though we get the funding now.

Jammysod · 12/06/2019 06:01

North of Manchester, £30 a day. Includes meals, snacks, drinks etc... Had to send nappies/wipes when he needed them. Offsted outstanding.

Fuzzyspringroll · 12/06/2019 06:11

Technically 31 Euros per day, 8am-5pm. However, due to me getting money from my employer towards it, it works out at 12,50 Euros per day.
Nothing included, though. I provide breakfast and snacks. Lunch is 60 Euros per month on top.
