£47.50 a day including all meals and snacks. Doesn't include formula or nappies. 8am-6pm. Was a pound more for baby room and will be 50p less (wahey) for preschool. West Country.

Youngandfree · 10/06/2019 14:18

I’m in Ireland and I pay 4 per hour, but over the age of 2yr8mths they have 8.30-12.00 free so I pay from 12.00-3.30 (I’m a teacher and my school finishes at 2.40) So I pay €14 per day. My dd then goes to the nursery’s Afterschool club (she finishes school at 1.20) for 2 hours and I pay and extra €2 per hour for her. So altogether I pay €18 per day sometimes €20 if I go past 3.30.

Youngandfree · 10/06/2019 14:19

Oh and that includes snacks at 11 and 3 (I send in a lunch)

Mammyloveswine · 10/06/2019 14:19

28 pound for a full day 8-6 at my local nursery in the north east. I provide a packed lunch and nappies/wipes.

They only take children from 2 however, which is a pain as I have a childminder for the youngest as he's only 16 months.

Orangedaisy · 10/06/2019 14:20

Outer London suburb, £68.50 a day (I only do 2 days a week). 7.30-6.30, includes everything. Not convinced it’s the best in the world but dd seems happy.

velveteenwabbit · 10/06/2019 14:27

Depressing. I'm central London and nursery is £135 a day.

Excited101 · 10/06/2019 14:31

Some of these higher numbers need to look into a nannyshare instead, it’d be cheaper!

Divgirl2 · 10/06/2019 14:33

Glasgow - £61/day. Includes 3 meals and snacks. I provide wipes, nappies etc. They are very very good and I am very very happy with them and living off beans on toast please send help

hsegfiugseskufh · 10/06/2019 14:33

£40 a day if you're FT (think something like £41 or £42 a day if not) in west Yorkshire - its a Sure Start childrens centre.

breakfast lunch and light tea included, but have to provide own nappies and wipes.

TheGoogleMum · 10/06/2019 14:34

Midlands . One we've choses is £57 a day and includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and snacks. Also formula, nappies wipes, sun cream. They said just bring a spare change of clothes and we have and provide things like Calpol.
We nearly chose one that was £45 a day and included similar meals but nothing else. Got a much better vibe from the expensive one though and feel like it's best for our baby. Sadly it's still really expensive when we will finally get free hours :( (I think they said £36 a day! DD only gonna be there 2 days a week so will be within free hours)

TheGoogleMum · 10/06/2019 14:35

To add To my post above hours are 7.30-6

SallyCinnamon3009 · 10/06/2019 14:35

Leeds £50 a day includes snacks three meals pampers nappies and wipes and activities as well. Nursery is open 7:30-6 and you pay £50 regardless of how long they are there each day

Sassy306 · 10/06/2019 14:43

£40 per day. 8am to 5.30pm. Nappies, wipes, milk/ formula/water and 2 snacks are all provided. Lunch is £2 per day or take a packed lunch (i do). Thats in Perthshire, Scotland

Hmmmbop · 10/06/2019 14:45

DC1- £27 a day, includes breakfast, afternoon snack, hot meal. Have to take packed lunch.

DC2 - £52 per day, includes breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.

Neither include nappies or wipes.

DC1s is cheaper as it's technically a 'pre-school' as it only takes them from 2. But operates like a private nursery in all other respects such as days and hours etc.

Hmmmbop · 10/06/2019 14:46

And we are north west England.

Average around here is £52 per day 0-4

hibbledibble · 10/06/2019 14:50

70 a day. Includes food but not nappies or wipes. 8-6 (London)

Faster · 10/06/2019 14:51

Otterses · 10/06/2019 14:52

NCforthis2019 · 10/06/2019 14:57

Bouncebacker · 10/06/2019 15:00

London, Zone 3 - £87 per day 8 - 6pm including meals and nappies

Moved to Edinburgh - £44 per day 8-5:45pm, we bring lunch and nappies (done with nappies now though) (But I’ve just heard I’m going to get funding next year that will cover most of that! Yay!)

LashesZ · 10/06/2019 15:00
