It's about £50 a day. That includes lunch, snacks, and milk. We provide our own nappies and wipes. You can also pay £3 per summer for suncream or provide your own.

Peccary · 10/06/2019 21:09

Some variation here!
We pay £40 a day all in (breakfast, lunch, light tea and nappies) north Derbyshire. Previously paid £50 in Manchester

Marmite27 · 10/06/2019 21:17

£33 per day for 4.5 days (actually in hours rather than days/half days).

Everything is included, formula or cows milk, bottles, nappies, wipes, cream, sun cream, breakfast, lunch and tea. There are help yourself fruit bowls so mine tend to have 2 pieces of fruit a day from those on the way in/out.

It’s a subsidised workplace nursery and I can pay through salary sacrifice too. It makes it about £300 per month for 39 hours a week.

spey2 · 10/06/2019 22:01

Manjuu · 10/06/2019 22:25

Can’t believe how expensive it is in the UK. I’m in Tokyo and my eldest DC is at a public nursery. It is means tested and we pay the highest rate - around £120 per MONTH. That’s from 8am until 6. Lunches included.

Second child goes half price and I think third is free.

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 10/06/2019 22:27

£3.75 an hour (was £4.80 for under 2), £1.85 for lunch per day, £2 per week activity money. Snacks included in hourly rate. We provide nappies/wipes/suncream. Central Scotland.

stucknoue · 10/06/2019 22:29

Wow there is some serious variation even within the same areas. That said when dd was born I was quoted £600 a month full time in central London, this was 20 years ago (I quit work)
