21st century single sex state education ...girls cook, boys fix things.

I was (un)lucky enough to attend this girls school 25 years ago. How can they justify the gender stereotyping and where are the opportunities for W.I.S.E. girls to access stem subjects?

I think single-sex education has outlived its use. Time to do away with it. This isn't Saudi Arabia

Single sex grammar schools are usually not like this at all, on the contrary girls' schools in particular typically have the highest uptake of girls doing stem subjects at gcse and A level, significantly better than in coed schools.
