Juice diet

Before anyone piles in to tell me this is a bad idea and I should just eat a balanced diet etc . I know all of this already.

I have recently changed jobs and my husband has been deployed for 6 months. We have two pre schoolers.

I love my new job but I am busier than ever and my diet has gone down hill and I have put on a few pounds. I have tried to shift it.

He is back in 2 weeks and I just want to feel amazing when he walks in the door.

I weight about 10st 13 and am a size 12.

Contemplating a juice diet for a few days. I have a recommendation of Nutriseed from a friend but wondered what other people have done? Which ones have the tastiest juices? Or anything else really.

I prefer protein shakes tbh. Just have two per day and a small dinner.

Juice diet / protein shake / meal replacement are all the same thing - calorie reducers. It will work. You'll be hungry. Just get mfp have 200 cal breakfast and lunch and a sensible dinner. It's the same thing.

I am about to do a juice cleanse (starting on Monday). A friend of mine does them regularly and loves them.
I need to kick start my weight loss so I am hoping it can do that so I can then carry on. Also her skin is always amazing afterwards

How are you going to sustain your new weight? Back to your current eating pattern I assume.

You need to change your habits for long term results. Guzzling juice for a while is pointless. Spend maybe 20 mins in the eve meal prepping. Things like overnight oats, salads and soups really aren't that hard to do.

Juice cleanses are utter bollocks, and vastly overpriced. It doesn't cleanse anything, it doesn't detox anything, and it empties your wallet.

I did a 7 day juice diet last year. Lost 10lb and have kept it off.
I had horrific headaches though and no energy. I also wanted to kill
Everyone!! I don't think my family would let me
do it again but it was effective.
