Whilst sometimes people cherry-pick facts to create an untrue story, if all of the material on that thread is true (and it's well referenced), that is huge.

Also, many of the allegations of rape and sexual assault against Trump pre-date his run for president, and his own words about sexually assaulting women, and about Ivanka, and about Epstein's parties, are on record. So it wouldn't exactly be surprising if Trump had sexually assaulted minors at Epstein's parties and there was kompromat about this.

Some people are up in arms with what the UK Amb said. I don't get why, after all his job is to be brutally honest with his superiors about the leaders of the 'host' country so that his country has a realistic idea of what their foreign policy should be. Considering that he probably wanted to write that Scrotus was a 'fucking idiotic bawbag' and a 'bloody menace to the civilized world', I'd say he couched his communiques in very diplomatic terms!

It wasn't said in an interview to the press. And it's an accurate description.

The question is who leaked those documents and why.

I've heard that 'some people' want to discredit the ambassador because he doesn't 'fit the mold' for the post, ie he comes from 'common stock' rather than the 'upper echelons' of society. I'm not up on UK politics enough to know if that's true or why it would make a difference if it is.

As Lweji surmised, the question is more who leaked and why.
