I didn’t get to go to the party?

We have a party at work, free food and drinks and amazing prizes - only if you are graded a certain score for the financial year.

My grade was too low and it was done out of spite by a manager and was then overturned but now I missed the party and genuinely feel sad

I don't think I would have wanted to go to such a party.

FredFlinstoneMadeOfBones · 07/06/2019 16:35

That sounds like a horrible place to work. You poor thing OP.

mumofwantwomany · 07/06/2019 16:36

What a primary school way of management

ballsdeep · 07/06/2019 16:42

Ergh how horrible. Tell them to shove it. Sounds like a shite place to work. Hope you're OK

MorondelaFrontera · 07/06/2019 16:53

I am amazed they get away with that.

MsChanandlerBoing · 07/06/2019 17:10

This must be actually about primary school kids - it’s insane whether it’s about kids or adults

leghairdontcare · 07/06/2019 17:34

Oh my god, I used to work in a place like this (big name financial services). I understand you want to be fairly rewarded for your hard work but usually these things are full of sycophants. Where was the party, in senior management's rectum?

Summersunshine2 · 07/06/2019 17:36

What?! That sounds an awful place to work. Thanks

KC225 · 07/06/2019 17:39

Them and us - sounds like a proactive management strategy

tensmum1964 · 07/06/2019 19:59

Absolutely disgusting practice. What a horrible place to work.
