to be freaked out by bad review?!

Going to see a solicitor today who specialises in DA/DV. Long story short - it's to discuss childcare arrangements with an abusive dad.

I'm going in with an open mind as I'm sure he will be very knowledgeable.

I just googled their office to see where to park. On google, one review mentions the solicitor I am seeing. It says he didn't present her evidence and he lost her her children. It's totally freaked me out!

Should I ignore?

Honestly I would I gone it and form your own opinion.
You don’t know what his ‘evidence’ is - it could have been inadmissible for example.
Or it could be a malicious review left by someone on the other side (this happens surprisingly often).
Go to the meeting with an open mind and, all the time while your solicitor is acting for you, ask yourself if you think they are doing their best? Do they answer you quickly and deal with things reasonably quickly?

It’s impossible to totally control a court situation and no one can guarantee an outcome. So you may not be able to get everything you want at this stage, but a good solicitor will always advise what is reasonable in the circumstances and work towards obtaining that.

Good luck

Is that the only review? In emotionally charged cases like this I think it's almost inevitable that there will be the odd bad review as people will be looking for someone to blame for their heartache. Best of luck OP.

I'm so nervous. I know I've only got one shot at this. I've never spoken to a solicitor before. I just don't know how to tell if he's good or not.

I would ignore it and see for myself.

In emotional cases like that there’s probably a good reason why she lost the kids or something the reviewer isn’t saying

I just wish I didn't read it. I don't know why it's bothered me so much.
