Thanks to the voters of Peterborough who were sensible enough not to be conned into electing an MP with no policy. Hope for the future.

I feel a tiny sliver of hope this morning after 3 years of despair.

I still despise Corbyn and his advisers for prevaricating on Brexit, but am pleased with the headlines this morning.

Thoroughly understand, Corbyn's got to go, then hopefully this mass brexit hysteria will be sent back to the lunatic fringe where it belongs. Although, at present, I'd even give a lukewarm welcome to a Tory rather than a Farage moneymaker. Fingers crossed, Ration.

Agree. Feel that if a brexit party mp would have been elected anywhere it would be Peterborough, so really glad they failed!

Labour absolutely has to get it together though, starting with giving disastrous Corbyn the boot.

All their followers on Twitter think it is a victory! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Well, lies and deceit are stock in trade for Brexit so no surprise there.
