To not want to celebrate my birthday?

It’s my birthday on Friday....and like every year, since I was about 13, I’m dreading it.
I hate the expectation, the fuss, the constant “what did you get?” I happily celebrate my DP birthday, the kids birthdays, other family/friends birthdays, but I hate mine. My DC keep asking what we’re doing on my birthday, what cake I’m having, who’s coming round...and I just wish I could sleep through the day and not worry about it for another year.
I feel awkward being given presents, cards etc. I feel very fortunate to have what I already have and I don’t need anything else. AIBU to just want to forget it? Just ask people to make a fuss about it? Just to treat it as any other day?
