to wish CAFCASS could speak to me in person?

I've just got a non mol against my ex. He's not seeing his child at the moment and I have just received a referral from cafcass as he is taking me to court. They're going to go an hour long interview with me on the telephone, which I am really nervous about. I hate talking on the phone and never come across well. I struggle a bit when I can't see people's facial expressions and body language. It's an anxiety thing. I would love to request to speak to someone in person but am scared I'll be seen as being difficult or causing trouble. I'm scared to mention that I'm anxious and on medication as I feel it may be used against me. I'm worried about the bad press cafcass get and not sure what to expect. The concerns I have are real, but I'm not convinced they'll be taken seriously.

Can anyone offer me any advice?

I am pretty sure the telephone call will just be initial contact and they will come see you at a later date.

Write a list in capitals of issues. Highlight the main ones. Try not to slate ex too much as you will be seen as not putting dc's needs before your hatred of him. Hard when he is a twat I know.
Have some water next to you.
Stay focused. Your dc need you to be strong - you sound it having taken steps to keep him away already.
Good luck op.

This is what is called a scripted safeguarding interview. Having undertaken the basic safeguarding enquiries with police and LA every party has a scripted interview. Intention is to find out what the safeguarding issues are from your perspective. If the FCA is good at her/his job this should then inform the initial recommendation to the court about what needs to happen next. Let me know how things turned out

@Philhall for the love of God would you quit resurrecting zombie threads about cafcass tonight. You’ve added you tuppence worth to at least 8 threads this evening on the same topic, some over 10 years old. It’s annoying and spam like. Please stop.
