To worry about the teenage years

Just as the title says, really. I would have thought that preschool years were the hardest. However reading several MN posts and hearing friends stories it seems I'm in fir a treat in the coming years... and of course I don't have the energy as an older mum 🙄
What's the hardest part of parenting older kids?

As you said really, the constant worry. It's a bit different to when they are little as you can protect them more and things can be fixed so much more easily.
With a teenager, it's the fact you have to let them become independent, while shitting yourself constantly about the never ending potential horrors. And you can't make it all better with a cuddle. Plus they are big and they smell weird and they eat loads and cost a fortune to clothe and entertain. Wouldn't swap her mind, mine is lush ;)
