Help! Washing machine not opening - please can someone help?

Posting for traffic. Staying at neighbour’s house to look after their house while they’re away.

I’ve put a wash on in their washer dryer (Samsung Eco Bubble - photo attached) and the wash is done now (machine played a jingle to let me know).

Only problem is the door seems to be stuck as I can’t open it at all, even when I force it slightly. I really don’t want to force it anymore though as I’m terrified of breaking it.

I’ve looked up similar incidents on Google but can’t find a way of opening it.

Please can someone help?

Put in on for a spin cycle but set soon to no spin and it should run for 1 minute only and drain the drum

That's as if you can't open despite jingle it's usually as door hasn't unlocked

Bet it’s child locked! You usually have to press two buttons together for 3-5 seconds

At the bottom right of the machine, there should be a flap (I can’t see the picture clearly, but it looks like there is one). Open that, and there should be a mechanism which you can pull which should release the door.

Ah, that's a lush washing machine that is can't be doing with ones that nag anymore, have enough of that with the microwave.

I spoke to Samsung customer support by phone, and they said the red lock showing on the washing machine means that there’s still water inside the machine.

They said the only solution is to drain the water from the machine, and they’ve said I need to unscrew the cap from this hose (pic

They’ve suggested twisting and turning the cap to unscrew it, but it’s not budging at all and I’m starting to get a bit stressed. Can anyone advise, please?

My ecobubble does this when the kids lean on the buttons and reduce the spin speed to nil. Put it on a spin cycle and try again.

Have you checked there isn't a child lock?

Our Miele locks the door when it turns off. I have to press the power button to turn it back on and wait a few seconds for the click. It hasn't turned itself off has it?

When unscrewing things, it's "lefty loosey", so turn to the left to undo.

Just a thought if it is the cap that isn't budging is it on really tight , if it as it was done in factory it may be .Have they got any plier's or grips that you can use to get the cap off the hose with them you will have more power to try and unscrew it .
