How long after the procedure was your dh ready to dtd

About 2/3 days. Wasn’t long but, he had no side impacts.

From memory, it wasn’t PIV, just gently foreplay until orgasm.

Heard some horror stories about the procedure though where it’s taken months. It’s a high risk procedure so all circumstances will be different

Madmilkmaid · 03/06/2019 09:31

The next day but I made him wait 5 days to be sensible and make sure the swelling etc was better.

Just remember that you need contraception. I can’t remember how long but it takes months and a sperm check to ensure that it’s worked. I think it was about ten days here.

Didntwanttochangemyname · 03/06/2019 12:36

About 3 days, but huge yes to contraception! We were advised to use contraception until DH had his sperm count done 3 months later - better safe than sorry!

GreenFingersWouldBeHandy · 03/06/2019 12:41

About a week (and very gently; he had some complications in one testicle). Currently waiting for him to get his sperm count done.

ApollO88 · 03/06/2019 12:48

We waited about a week I think. It took him 9months to get a clear sample and to get given his certificate of sterility

Laura221 · 03/06/2019 12:51

A little while as he had complications. Maybe a month? It was a while a go now though.

DobbyLovesSocks · 03/06/2019 12:56

I think we waited a week or so for the dressings to come off and the bruising to subside (DH's didn't go to plan and had to have it done under GA at the local hosp). We didn't worry about contraception as my implant hadn't come out. As soon as DH's sperm samples came back clear I had it removed.
Just take it slow (like you would after childbirth)

Apoll088
9 months! That is ages! Why did it take so long?

Sorry for seriously late reply!
Not a clue really. He had to do a specific number of ejections in between samples too so I'm guessing it just takes some longer to completely clear the pipes than others.
