To think Trump will get away with this. Again.

So Trump's done another interview with the Sun, this time supporting Boris Johnson's campaign to lead the Tory party and refers to the Duchess of Sussex as "nasty".

I'd like to think that people would hold him accountable for his lack of diplomacy and manners. But I won't hold my breath. I bet the Duke of Sussex will be expected to be there, shaking his hand, being charming. Poor sod.

Oh, and this bit too, "Trump said other candidates had approached him in a bid to secure his endorsement: “Other people have asked me for an endorsement, too. I have been asked for endorsements." (The Guardian).

I wish some journalist would approach all of the candidates and ask them on record which of them had approached Trump for his fucking endorsement.

"“I could help anybody if I endorse them. I mean, we’ve had endorsement where they have gone up for 40, 50 points at a shot.”"

He's a fantasist. A narcissist.

He's not entirely a fantasist though, is he? Enough people voted for him to make him President. The world has taken a very strange and I think dangerous turn of late.

I don't want to read a Sun article but if he's really called the Duchess of Sussex nasty that's awful. As for publicly backing Boris I'm disappointed in his meddling but unfortunately not surprised. He really is a disgraceful man

I wonder what the Royals think about it all. What are they saying to each other, if anything? I know that they meet with plenty of despicable heads of state, but this is so high profile. And even the worst despots manage not to slag off their hosts the weekend before they arrive.

I think Harry is meant to meet him. Hope he withdraws.

Harry won’t meet him now. Not just because he won’t want to but because he’ll be advised not to. The trickier call will be William.
