Knickers!

Why oh why can’t I find decent knickers any more? All I want is a pair which cover my bottom properly without going as high as my belly button. What is it with all these Brazilian styles which only look pretty on dainty behinds, but end up disappearing into my crevices uncomfortably exposing all my orange peel?
Can anyone help me find a bikini style which actually covers my pear shaped size 16 bum? Extra points for prettiness!!

I find the packs of cotton knickers in Sainsbury's work for me. 3 for £10. There are various styles but I like the ones you seem to be describing.

I came on to say sainsburys Brazilian (I have a size 18!) But I see you don't like them 🙈

I like Muji.

I live in Mothercare maternity knickers. They were the best things I ever bought (I'm not pregnant)

DontCallMeShitley · 31/05/2019 16:00

I have been searching for knickers for years, have stacks of them and only 5 that fit properly which of course are discontinued. I want some that don't ride up and leave my cheeks uncovered. Or roll down inside my trousers because of the fabric being slippy.

MillicentMartha · 31/05/2019 16:05

You need midi ones. Sainsbury’s or M & S. Usually any colour you want as long as it’s black. Wink

Captain, those shorts look like they might be worth a try, thanks.
Millicent, the midi ones look comfy but too ‘to me, sorry!
As for maternity knickers, good suggestion but I just wore my normal ones whilst pregnant!!!

Millicent, that should have read ‘they look too grannyfied’!

I find the elastic crap on Sainsbury knickers, I like the Tesco shorts style

Ijustdontcare · 31/05/2019 16:39

This will be a game changer for some of you, buy Male trunk type boxers. They are comftable, have wide elastic so don't slip, cover everything and don't leave any VPL and are also cheap. For day to day life they are amazing.

WeedsAndMoss · 31/05/2019 16:42

M&S Microfibre. Recently discovered. Pants of the gods.

DareDevil223 · 31/05/2019 16:58

Yy to M&S Microfibre, I'm wearing a pair now, they are cheap, wash well, look nice and are blissfully comfortable and VPL free.

learieonthewildmoor · 31/05/2019 17:03

I was going to recommend The “Parisienne” range by Jockey, but it seems they don’t sell them in England!
Boyleg style has good bum coverage, un-granny.

RandomMess · 31/05/2019 17:07

Gap breathe range!

Londonmummy66 · 31/05/2019 17:17

Uniqlo - really nice midi shorts style in lots of pretty and plain fabrics.
