Very conversational- fur coat

I inherited a fur coat from my mother who left me it in her will. I know it was already a second hand coat when my father bought it for her in the sixties. Should I wear it? Am complete torn. I did not buy it new, so didn't pay for the poor rabbit's death. But then again I wear leather shoes and eat meat. Feel really confused as to what to do with it. It was my mother's (although she never wore it!) so don't know what to do with it. Sorry if this seems stupid.

Take a nice photo of you in it

There's no such thing as a nice picture of someone wearing a fur coat.

If you like it wear it.

Sure. I keep rabbits and would never dream of eating them or buying a rabbit fur coat but... if it's from the 60's and you inherited it, sure, go for it. Pretty sure they're dead now anyway.

I wouldn't. I also don't wear leather or buy it, don't eat meat or use dairy. But honestly I wouldn't wear it anyway as I don't like the look of it, real or otherwise. To me an act of cruelty is an act of cruelty whenever it happened and I think the poor animals would be happier if I didn't wear their skin.

I have actually seen people be abused in public for wearing fur, twice was in London and one of them ended up with drinks thrown over them.

If your mum didn't wear it, I would find something else to remind me of her

I'd wear it unless the worry that people might have a go about it would spoil it. If that were the case then I'd wear it around the house whilst drinking cocktails.
