Regarding shared holiday childcare

My friend and I have arranged some reciprocal childcare to help cover the long summer break. I have 3 kids and she has 2, therefore I am taking them all for 3 weeks and she is taking them all for 2 weeks. I think this Is fair but my colleague thinks 2.5 each would be fairer. What does everyone else think.?

It doesn't really matter what your friend thinks if she's not involved in the arrangement, if you're happy then it's fine. Sounds a fair way to split it to me.

you're looking after somebody else's children for a whole three weeks, unbroken? (and vice versa)

So you’re providing 30 days of childcare (15 days for each of her children) and she’s providing 30 days (10 days for each of your 3 children)? Seems fair to me!

Seems fair to me, why is your colleague sticking their beak in?

It’s zero to do with them - why are you listening to them?
