To think Amanda Holden is out of control

Am I the only one to think that she's completely over the top in this year's BGT, not being very funny when she thinks she is and I'm wondering if she won't have her contract renewed. Not to mention last night's swearing. I think there are better people. I wonder when Simon will realise it.

She’s taking on the morning show on Heart radio, it’s changing from locally produced shows to one big broadcast and why they thought of her to take the job I don’t know 😩 I won’t be listening in work any more.
Nor will I. I love our local people but can't stand Amanda Holden.

Completely irrelevant but I share a first name with Alesha, so using the self service tills at Mark's and having, "hi I'm Alesha" screetching out at you is rather unsettling.

I liked her in Kiss Me Kate - great comic timing. Haven’t liked her much since. I lie, I like her love for Stavros Flatly and the fact that she books them for everything. She went up hugely in my estimation when she mentioned this Smile

I saw her in that and she was mediocre at best. The ovations for the rest of the cast were twice as loud as hers. Some of them were fantastic and really put her in the shade.

Don't feel much either way for her. Do feel annoyed though that for some reason women feel the need to call women over a certain age desperate/attention seeking. When they are sat next to men who are equally so.

The two winning acts yesterday and today were the same. Make the panel pick 4 things which anagram to the big reveal. The same trick.

She seems fine to me. They're all supposed to be a bit OTT, it's the nature of the show.

@Sandunesandseashells I think a lot of celebrity castings are like that. I saw Samantha Womack [Janus] in The Addams Family musical, she was awful and everyone else was super-talented. Just a name!

I think Amanda is beautiful, I like her. She's been in lots of shows both on tv and in the theatre. Lots of bitchiness here tonight.

I don't dislike her, she hasn't done anything bad but I feel like she's acting at being Miss Funny/ Cool/ Excited and it comes off as fake so I can't warm to her. I think Simon is the worst, he's like a bad impressionist of Simon C these days, in the early years of BGT/ X Factor he was grumpy but enjoyed a bit of fun, now he hams up the grumpy and the 'fun' and it's like watching a programme about people judging a panel show and acting out their reactions. I think both shows have had their day, I far prefer The Voice, Strictly and even Ninja Warrior more!

I didn't say she did take it just simply posting what numerous others had said online didn't look like confetti or gold to me but then again I'm only going from what I've seen.
