Sitting by a pool...

Only a couple of small rooms at the b and b I'm at. Small pool area nice and quiet. Until someone turns up and decides we all need to hear their music and plays it through her phone. Why do people do this?

Throw it in the pool

Finfintytint · 28/05/2019 14:03

I’d hate that. I’d ask her to use headphones.

PestoSnowissimos · 28/05/2019 14:04

Because they’re selfish.
Earphones should be the way to go.

Isthisthestart · 28/05/2019 14:04

I'm such a wimp... I need to man up.

Maybe ask the landlady to tell her to use headphones ?

redcarbluecar · 28/05/2019 15:02

Utterly selfish. Ask her to use headphones, or give her some passive aggressive looks of annoyance. Or put your own music on louder Smile

TinyTimsCrutch · 28/05/2019 15:10

Bomb the pool and splash her phone Wink

I need to man up

Women can be direct too. Grow a pair (of ovaries) and just ask her nicely to use earphones.

Justmuddlingalong · 28/05/2019 15:19

Write a review and post it on tripadvisor right now. Hopefully the landlord/lady will read it and say something. Or, just ask the offender to turn it down yourself. 😉

Finally peace and quiet! So inconsiderate! Same as parents letting their children watch things loudly on their iPads in a restaurant it's that tiny noise that is so grating you cant concentrate on anything else.
@donquixotedelamancha oops yes I use the expression loosely...not very PC I guess now a days but hey ho.

Tinny not tiny...

Meant ironically, who cares about being PC?

Point being, we should perhaps all be a little more willing to (politely) challenge rudeness.

Isthisthestart · 28/05/2019 16:13

I agree!
