We've got no money to go out, DCs are revising or out with mates and I'm bored out of my mind.

I'm over my overdraft & kids are mithering to do stuff. I just want to wallow in self-pity today....at least that's free.

Nice walk - take a drink with you and a book/magazine?

Library to have a good browse of books and find some good ones?

Any cupboards/drawers that you've been meaning to sort out for ages?

It's rubbish when you're skint though Sad

Echoing other suggestions about going to the library or taking a walk.

Check if there are any museums/heritage sites near you that are free to enter - local authority run places are usually free.

Do you have a rewards programme with your phone company, e.g. O2 Priority, Vodafone Rewards? They're worth checking to see if they're offering a free coffee/treat from Greggs/etc.

Tidy out your wardrobe/cupboards and take things you want to donate to the charity shop or list them on eBay/Facebook Market Place for a bit of extra cash. If you've got a lot of books/CDs/DVDs lying around you're not using you could try a site like Ziffit or We Buy Books to see whether you can make a bit of money from them. I've used both sites a lot in the past, postage is free and payout is quick once they've received your items.

Watch a film, read a book, do some crafts if you're interested in that and have supplies to hand, bake something?
