To be really fucking sick of hearing Bill Wyman talking about his "relationship" with Mandy Smith as if he was some poor guy who got it wrong?

I honestly don't know how he's avoided prosecution for this.

He's said in previous interviews that he was "Already a woman" when he met her (no she was a vulnerable 13 year old child you sick creep) and talks as though he was given a hard time by the press about it.

Clearly not hard enough as people are still falling over themselves to make documentaries about his life.

I was a child when they were together- not yet ten when the relationship ended and clearly remember the snide way she was referred to as a wild child by the British press, when in fact she was the victim of years of grooming and abuse.

I feel really sad for Mandy Smith. She was horribly let down by her mum as a child, vilified in the press and she very much lives her life away from the limelight. She's never been able to maintain a happy relationship and has apparently quite religious now.

She was pimped by her mother to an old man. Poor poor girl.

I remember them being on Wogan (or similar show) and people congratulating their marriage. She was about a year older than me.
I did meet her when she was still only about 18. Fairly quiet and unassuming.

Alltoo the mother was allowing her 13 year old and 15 year old to disappear to nightclubs and parties all weekend. She apparently had CFS and lay in bed all day but made a miraculous recovery when her child met a middle aged millionaire. She wasn't any kind of parent.

I remember at the time there was an attitude of "Good on yer Bill!" I think, wrongly, Mandy wasn't seen as a victim - seem to remember she had a modelling career - but her Mum was obviously in the background pulling strings. What is horrible is how Bill paid for her to go to an exclusive private school - presumably with the knowledge of the teachers and her family. I think a lot of people let Mandy down for personal gain, I wonder how she has been affected by this in her life. Always got the feeling he married her to try and normalize it. He's a creep and deserves all he gets. He should be judged as times have changed.

I've seen pictures of her at 15/16 and yes she was tall and beautiful and heavily made up but still looked like a child

Basically her mother was enabling a paedophile to abuse her daughter in plain sight, it's amazing how his money opened the door as if to rationalise his appalling behaviour, if a middle aged man behaved like this around my teenage daughters, I'd have cut his balls off first, reported him to the police next.
