to have a netflix account and an amazon prime account? It feels very decadent but I’ve just started watching Fleabag!

Fleabag is on iplayer.

Having both isn't much per month is it? I've got them too.

chloechloeharris · 27/05/2019 21:36

not at all imo, if i knew i'd use it i'd get amazon prime. i have netflix premium and it makes me feel so bougie 😍

Passthecherrycoke · 27/05/2019 21:37

No I’ve got both they’re very cheap

JustHereWithPopcorn · 27/05/2019 21:37

We have both to Smile

WhereForArtThouBray · 27/05/2019 21:38

I have both, the amazon prime is useful for the free next day delivery, the video aspect is just an extra perk.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 27/05/2019 21:39

We’ve got both. No sky etc just normal freeview. Works or well for us.

WoWsers16 · 27/05/2019 21:39

I’ve got both and now tv lol

BeanBag7 · 27/05/2019 21:40

We teamed up with a friend. We have Netflix and they have Amazon Prime. We swapped login details so we can both access both but only pay for one each.
Probably against some rule in the small print but it works for us.

mummyhaschangedhername · 27/05/2019 21:51

Well I've got Netflix, amazon prime and NOW tv 🙈

To be fair I have prime for deliveries not for the tv. I love now.

Bodear · 27/05/2019 21:54

I’m not in the UK so can’t iPlayer. On the hand Amazon Prime deliveries aren’t much use here either. However, you’ve all made me feel much better and that it’s perfectly reasonable Smile
So, any prime suggestions for what to watch?

DoneLikeAKipper · 27/05/2019 21:57

I’ve just started watching Fleabag for free on iPlayer, so I guess at least one of those accounts aren’t proving their worth Grin.

We only have Nextflix, never seen any reason to need Prime as well. We also had NowTV for a while but then changed to Virgin Media. We were going to have to re-pay for it in order to watch GoT, but then won 3 months free access (thank you McDonald’s monopoly!), but won’t be extending it further. It has to have a decent selection for me to to be interested, and Netflix is definitely king in my opinion.

Purpleheadgirl · 27/05/2019 22:08

Don't forget the included photo storage on Amazon prime as well :)

tor8181 · 27/05/2019 22:13

i have 5 subscription accounts
now tv,amazon netflix,disney and wwe

all gets watched

PollyShelby · 27/05/2019 22:58

Bosch is the best thing on prime imo.

BedraggledBlitz · 27/05/2019 23:02

I don't watch much on prime, but like the delivery.

I have now TV just for game of thrones, but always forget to cancel it for rest of year. Plus I've heard big little lies is starting again.

Netflix is the best of them all. I love it.

ZippyBungleandGeorge · 27/05/2019 23:17

We have both , we've had netflix for ages and DH has recently started an MA at work so we get student Prime!

Dippypippy1980 · 27/05/2019 23:27

I have both. Amazon because I use the music and lots of deliveries.

willstarttomorrow · 27/05/2019 23:38

We have both. I have had netflix for years and signed up to prime one christmas when it was cheaper than paying for postage. I have since got rid of sky and moved my Internet to my mobile provider with no land line fees. Even though I kept the cost of sky low for years by threatening to leave we are saving a lot of money. We have now tv as well at the moment because we needed an extra streaming stick and it was the cheapest one with a month of entertainment. As suggested when you try and cancel you get a great offer, I think about £2 a month for 6 months. Worth it for Chernobyl.

NotCisJustWoman · 28/05/2019 00:04

Netflix
Amazon Prime
YouTube Premium
Crunchy Roll

sansou · 28/05/2019 00:17

Amazon Prime for the deliveries although I have watched Outlander.
Spotify for DH & the DC.
Netflix for DH & the DC.

I could quite happily live without all of the above and just have Freeview and save the money. (I'm happy to pay my TV license). They would be the first things to go if needs must.

Rainatnight · 28/05/2019 01:11

We have both too, though find myself watching more and more on Prime and less on Netflix.

Wow, Beanbag, why do you and your friends think you’re different from the rest of the world who pay full price?

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 29/05/2019 22:27

@rainatnight and @beanbag you can share log in details if you have the account which allows more than one user. For example on my Netflix account I can have two users. It’s an extra quid a month. On amazon prime you have ‘households’ so can share accounts there too totally above board 🙂

lotusbell · 08/06/2019 22:08

We got Now to watch GoT, think we got it for 15.99 plus 2 month entertainment pass. OH went to cancel it and they offered him 4.80 a month for 3 months. I only want it for new season of Big Little Lies really so cant justify full price, we dont watch enough tv.

Gth1234 · 09/06/2019 23:00

I'm, not sure. I have Netflix with my BT package. My son has Now, Prime and Spotify as well. Probably has PS4 as well, if they still charge for it.

juneybean · 09/06/2019 23:01

We've currently got Netflix, prime and now tv Shock
