Going on a hen do tomorrow. City break. Few activities planned then dinner and drinks. MOH literally told.us yesterday we are doing something extra when out at night time. Including taxis to venue and entrance fee we are all looking at paying an extra 50/60 quid. Initially when organising the hen we discussed the night part.and everyone agreed that after the days events a meal and afew drinks was agreed as we would probably we quite tired. Now its a complete 360 and everything's changed. Im livid anyway as the MOH has been a complete ballache..... telling us what to wear even down to nail polish choice! Also she reminds us all about all the extras shes purchasing balloons masks badges etc
When some poor soul brought up the creeping costs she was told to ask her husband or parents for more money towards it. Ive met the MOH breifly at hens birthday party a couple of years ago so really dont know her from adam. But my defenses are up already and this demand for extra money is the straw thats broke the camels back. Im currently moving house and every penny is tied up in that. Of course i could find it from somewere but why should i. I can see afew other hens in the group chat are confused as to why the sudden late change to plans
But in all honestly the MOH is rather scarey so people arent commenting much. Also the hen is a really easy going girl so cant imagine shes behind all this. Aibu to refuse this extra expense?
