To wonder if Prince George's body guards get bored spending every day at Primary school

Firstly I'm assuming Prince George has body guards with him at all times including during school hours. Do you think after a while it gets a bit boring especially spending all week at a Primary school, I mean what do they do all day? I guess they rotate days with guarding other royals for some variety. Do the royals ever have any privacy to themselves or is there always someone standing guard outside the door (and listening to arguments!) even at home?

It must be sad for them in some respects. My dad who is same age as George is so excited to go to someone else's house for tea. Maybe it's that friends can come to them or something instead.

Obviously not my dad... my ds

Lol at the tiny chairs, what a wonderful image,

I’d hope they also help out with the crafts and hand out the odd certificate in assembly, maybe for best random picture given to them by a five yr old.

The children would be so curious if they are in the classroom and it might be quite disruptive. Love to think of them hunkered down on the tiny chairs.

I went to the same elementary school as a few US politicians' children. One of the girls' father was elected Vice-president and she stayed at our school for the few months until he was sworn in. I remember looking out if the window one day and seeing the motorcade coming to pick her up from school - limo, a couple of black Suburbans (massive 4x4s beloved by the FBI and Secret Service) and police motorcycle outriders.

A military school in which I worked in Germany was off-base and during a security flap we had guards outside and patrolling inside the school, very disconcerting in an open-plan teaching space! It was winter and the senior officer came into school and asked the Head to tell his pupils to stop throwing snowballs at them!

I saw that film years ago and loved it, @wanderings

Never been able to find it since though- half thought I'd dreamt it!

I think the bodyguard ends up becoming a lecturer himself!!

@IWouldBeSuperb I haven't been able to track that film down either! It's not on Netflix and on Amazon the film comes up as 'currently unavailable'. So if anyone knows how we can watch The Student Prince starring Robson Greene please let us know! Btw there is an old film with the same title from 1954 that comes up straight away when searched just to confuse us!

I grew up abroad and HAD to have security/ bodyguards for a while. Mine just stood outside the school and played cards mostly Grin
