AIBU to ask OH to not build up a collection of bogies in the car

As subject line. I'm seething. I share a car with OH and the other day found his bogie collection in the car, I've been asking him all week to remove but the collection is growing and he wiped one by the handbrake. I've just sucked them up the vacuum and wiped with anti bac spray but feel he shouldn't have done this or at the least cleaned them up when asked.

Omg that is disgusting. If he must pick his nose tell him to flick it out of the window

mouldyhousemouldylife · 24/05/2019 17:31

Yabvu who doesn't love that? Hmm

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 24/05/2019 17:31

He's either being a Dick.... or being a Dom. Either way, that is seriously grim.

When you say 'collection', do you mean that he has them carefully displayed, categorised and labelled? Does he do swapsies with other collectors?

goodwinter · 24/05/2019 18:15

Fucking hell. That's the sort of behaviour you'd expect from a toddler. Is he not even embarrassed about it?

goodwinter · 24/05/2019 18:15

Also OP... Are you actually asking if you're being unreasonable not to want a bogey-filled car?!

GruciusMalfoy · 24/05/2019 18:18

He's a dirty bastard. That shows a complete lack of respect for you.

Tamalpais · 24/05/2019 18:18

Start a vomit collection. On his seat.

mimibunz · 24/05/2019 18:19

When I was a child I would watch my dad pick his nose and wipe it under the seat. He did it every time he got in the car. Nasty.

Alleycat1 · 24/05/2019 18:21

Put a large packet of tissues in the car and instruct him in their use. Revolting behaviour in a grown man!

VladmirsPoutine · 24/05/2019 18:24

Of course you aren't being unreasonable. That would really put me off. I'll just get in early before someone else does and say that it would make me reconsider the entire marriage.

steff13 · 24/05/2019 18:25

That's gross. Maybe put some tissues in the car?

recrudescence · 24/05/2019 18:44

When I was a child I would watch my dad pick his nose and wipe it under the seat.

Apparently very common behaviour and a known hazard in car valeting.

gromberry · 24/05/2019 22:42

My ex-H kept one of my hair grips in the car to scoop ear wax out of his ears. Also bits of crisp packet that he would fold into a point and use to dig bits of food out of the big cavities he had in all his teeth.

magicstar1 · 24/05/2019 22:49

My dad worked for a big car company and the MD used to wipe his under the seat too. My dad called him out on it in front of everyone and told him to stop. It’s disgusting!

EmeraldShamrock · 24/05/2019 22:50

BIL borrowed a friends car, he put his hand in the door pocket it was full of snot.
Absolutely rank. I feel sick thinking about it along with your OP and PP's.🤢🤮

justasking111 · 24/05/2019 22:53

If he has a mother, tell him you are phoning her to ask her advice about getting him to stop. My lot would get a roasting if I got to hear about it.
