Posting for traffic. Fairly new to selling on ebay. I buy alot!!!! Anyway getting rid of some clothes. Only making afew quid here and there but hey ho. Just sold a brand new with tags black dress for 4quid! Another buyer has sent me a message saying......
Oh no i missed out on this sale i really need it. Exactly what is it they expect me to reply?

Nothing you can do! Reply something like “sorry you missed out this time, hope you find what you’re looking for!” and if they try to insist you sell it to them instead just report them to eBay.

Personally I wouldn't reply at all - since they're not "engaged in a transaction" with you they can do nothing

IMO, unless you're a business and can absorb the nonsense ebay has become toxic for sellers, infested with unreasonable demands which are too often pandered to by the company. I wish you luck with it, but don't be surprised if you find you're becoming a clothing hire member rather than a seller
