I’m not going to give the woman any more fame but someone who I don’t know has posted a photo of an old 70’s golly doll and says ‘HOW FAR WILL I GO BEFORE BEING TWKEN OFF FACEBOOK’. It has gone viral and has thousands of comments likes and shares but it’s still there and people are laughing about how it can’t possibly be offensive even though other people are pointing out how it is offensive

I’ve just seen this pop up in my timeline as a random acquaintance shared it Angry

I also clicked on the woman who posted it and she has also put up a jar of marmalade and a rant about how she isn’t a racist because she has black family and friends and how she just likes the dolls and marmalade. This also has hundreds of comments from people telling her it’s offensive

If you just like the doll then surely just keep that private to yourself, not try make something go viral with an offensive and inflammatory tone?

I’m not being snowflake PC brigade to think this is horrible behaviour right? I’ve reported it
