Is snoring a reasonable grounds for manslaughter ?

My DH is perfectly nice in the day but increasingly turns into some type of hippo human hybrid and snores like a steam train all night.
I'm at the edge of reason.

It should be. I have been up since 1.30 listening to DH..... could even hear him from the sofa....... Angry

Oh my gosh I am in the same position. Have dc that is bf and still waking 2 hourly. And my duh snoring his head off next to us. So no yanbu, it is 100% reasonable grounds for manslaughter Grin

I wish I could post a sound track here. It's so loud, it set my dogs barking at 1am . The usual kicking is not effective.

Also contemplating this. Mine snores when on his back. Throughout the night my jabs to get him to turn over get more and more pointy.

Ah - that type of snorer isn't too bad. I have one who starts off quiet and builds to a crescendo with a gigantic snort which rouses him. This is followed by a few moments of silence and then he's off again.....

If anyone's DH is in denial, always worth downloading the SnoreLab app which, if you leave it running overnight, will produce a graph showing the level of snoring reached. DH's is regularly 'epic'.

It most definitely is...the lack of sleep I get because of DHs snoring is making me ill.

I hear ya! I've been putting up with his snoring for 7 years! Been telling him and telling him to go doctors because I think he has sleep apnea! He is not obese but he is overweight so I think that's contributing to it. I've tried them nose strips and it only worked for a short period :(

I recorded him and told him it was ruining my sleep. He only paid attention when I played it back, the fucker.

He found a nasal spray which works wonders but he has to take it every night.

It took a CPAP machine to stop dh snoring. Turns out he has obstructive sleep apnoea. Maybe all the snorers should get tested

Iggly thanks for that link, to my shame I’m the snorer in our house, I sound awful! I don’t know why, I don’t really drink, I’m not overweight, I’m so embarrassed by it.

DH is generally lovely but sometimes I really piss him off Blush

I'm the snorer in our house and it's because I'm overweight. I'm taking steps to address it.
Dh makes this incredibly annoying clicking noise when he's asleep as well as being a mouth breather and does my head in more with that than I do his with my snoring! I end up wearing ear plugs most nights.

Mine does awful wet snoring, snorting, etc and like a pp it's making me ill.

Get him to wear a Snoreze mouthguard. it saved my sanity and relationship.

Yes, snoring is highly annoying. I punched my OH in the nose for it once and woke him up and he was really angry though, so make sure you hit him hard enough to kill him.
