Is snoring a reasonable grounds for manslaughter ?

My DH is perfectly nice in the day but increasingly turns into some type of hippo human hybrid and snores like a steam train all night.
I'm at the edge of reason.

Separate rooms

I am trying to work out if I can adapt one of the children's nerf guns so I can dart him . Swords and knives seem messy.

Dh says he won’t go to the doctor because a CPAP machine would be noisier. I tried to tell him that it’s not just the noise - it’s the gargling, the silence, the snorting, the circular breathing puffs of fucking air, never knowing what is coming next, as well as the fucking train in my ear when he actually isn’t trying to convince me he’s in his agonal breathing last.
I wander the house until I either find a free bed or the sofa, and keep my fingers crossed that he’s still alive in the morning. This is manageable until we have houseguests, when I am imprisoned in the torture chamber.

My DH will never go to the doctor when told and even if he goes on his own, completely ignores all advice and never follows up and rarely takes the medication.
This weekend I am going to sort out the junk in the spare room and get a lush mattress topper and move in.

Is it overweight that makes them snore? My dp is probably 3/4 stone overweight but doesn't snore. Thank God. My ads does though, and he is overweight. His dw has insisted they have separate bedrooms.

Your DO is completely wrong 50shades.

CPAP machines are quiet

dementedpixie · 23/05/2019 07:27

I agree CPAP machines are quiet. It quietly whooshes air which is much easier to sleep through than grunts and gasps and the sheer noise of snoring.

Being overweight doesn't help plus if you have a large neck size (dhs is 17.5 inches) that predisposes you too.

mummymayhem18 · 23/05/2019 07:38

Another one who's husband snores like a rhinoceros 🦏. We have had separate bedrooms for years. Hence why he is still alive to tell the tale 🤣

habibihabibi · 23/05/2019 09:38

He is a little on the plumpy side. If I was to decapitate him it would be a big effort as he does have a thick neck.
