Neighbour staring?

I live in a flat but it only has a ground and first floor (8 flats in total).

A new(ish) neighbour has moved in upstairs and she seems to be a home a lot. Each time I park up, or walk back to my car to get my shopping etc ... she’s there staring at me from the window. Will look away but then always looks back again.

Creeps me out. Aibu?

She is probably wondering why her CF neighbour is always looking up at her window.

She may just be a nosy old bat, but on the other hand, have you thought that maybe she's lonely, or mostly house-bound and enjoys sitting by her window watching the world go by? I very much doubt she is watching you specifically. Why don't you give her a nice smile and wave next time. Or you could pop by and say hello, how are you doing? Communities just ain't what they used to be.

Are you Ronnie Pickering?

@Jemma232 - 9 biscuits? Sure that's nearly a whole pack! What did the OP do to deserve a whole pack of biscuits???

Blush Oh no, could this be me? I'm constantly looking out at people's dogs, and there are loads because I'm close to the sea. If that sounds familiar OK please don't worry, I don't even notice humans!

Diamondeye · 22/05/2019 15:28

She’s not house bound or elderly btw. I’m not that mean.

I'd probably mention it when you see her

her response will tell you a lot

I had one neighbour say to me "I can't work out your working hours - you seem not to have a pattern at all."

I knew to keep away from her!!

Your neighbour is an example of what happens when they "take mental health care back to the community". She could be barking all night as well so be relieved that she doesn't.
Wave, shoot a military salut, wink - maybe you are making her day?
