Hi! Sorry I have NCd and posting for traffic!

I'm a student teacher and I'm currently in the process of applying for jobs. I've been based in year 6 most of the academic year having spent half a term in year 1.

I'm in the middle of applying for a year 5 job that I really want. I think my letter of application is strong but there is a paragraph I need help with.

I want to include a small section on my experience with the SATs last week. But I'm really struggling! Can any of you wonderful people please help me write a solid paragraph that demonstrates I have experiences sats?

Thank you!

Ask your mentor and/or lecturers rather than a bunch of internet strangers who have no idea what your experience has been?

Really bloody harsh and unnecessary @bridget

OP have you tried posting in The Staffroom? You may get a more positive response in there. Failing that I would recommend the TES forums.... loads of very experienced teachers who can give you some advice.

I’m also a student teacher and from all the posts on tes etc I have seen you will be told to do it yourself. It’s no good getting some internet stranger to write it for you.

Op, come over here! Teachers galore!

Have a go at writing the paragraph yourself first. Much easier to critique that than us write something that doesn’t reflect your experience ... or even sound like you!

Hi OP, fellow student teacher here. Do you have a supportive mentor that can help you with this?
