to ask tablet or laptop?

My trusty laptop has given up on me. Never had a tablet but am considering getting one instead of a laptop.

So my question. Tablet or laptop? And why?

Depends what you're planning to do with it. A small tablet (or just my phone) is easier for casual browsing but if I want to accomplish anything more detailed I find a laptop is far more suitable. I like a keyboard and a proper mouse to get stuff done.

I prefer my laptop, it's got much more processing power (despite being 8 years old) than my 10 inch Fire. I only really use the tablet for travelling.

I have a windows laptop that you can use as a tablet. It’s brilliant! Thoroughly recommend!

Oh sorry didn’t answer the why..... it’s really easy to use is the main thing. I can switch between touching the screen and using the mouse easily. I can detach the screen and leave the keyboard behind if I like but like I said mainly because it’s so easy
