It gives me the bloody rage when I walk into the kids bedrooms and they've put mis-matched bedding on ... Arghhhhh. It looks like a crack den!! Why does it bother me so much, what's wrong with me??

I was actually tempted to swop ds's pillowcase while he slept last night as dh put a new cover on but no case!

If the bedding sets are put away together (duvet cover, pillowcase and sheet folded up and stored in the other pillowcase) then there'll always be a matching set to go on the beds. :)

I've done this for years. Makes life a lot easier!

Amazing that you’ve got kids who change their own bedding! Another parenting fail from me there. I store all bedding sets complete inside on of the pillowcases (a rare housekeeping tip from me!) - that way the set is easy to find & when it’s time to change them they all go on together. Might chuck one at my teen today & tell him it’s about time it’s his job from now on..

Cross post there!
