To make DH sleep downstairs?

DH has a cough that keeps waking me up. AIBU to make him sleep on an air bed downstairs or should I? He sleeps fine anywhere but I struggle to sleep anywhere but my bed, hence why I'm thinking he should move downstairs.

So what happens when you get a cough? You sleep downstairs? Get him some cough medicine? Or earplugs for you?

The one who's ill gets the bedroom. I say this, but when it's me I take the couch because of all the restlessness that comes with being ill I'm not likely to sleep anyway.

If I ever get a cough (rarely) I'm more considerate than to blast a cough into DH's ear when he's sleeping so he hits the ceiling in fright......

Same goes here as for pps. The one who's ill gets the bed. The coughing is keeping him awake more than you.
I hate sleeping on the sofa but I abide by the law.

I do love the luxury of having spare beds to ensure a good night sleep, but with kids, we all rarely finish the night in the beds we started

We do the 'ill person gets the bed' rule too, though it's usually me as DH can sleep through any amount of my coughing, sneezing, trips to vomit, or whatever else might be wrong. So he just stays put, fast asleep and oblivious... bastard
