It's not something that I'd choose but I can see why another guest may choose it esp if they are of clubbing age. It's something that could be worn again unlike some wedding outfits that hang in a wardrobe never to be seen again.

How versatile.

As for those black trousers, well you'd need a figure for them. Blush

EdtheBear · 19/05/2019 09:28

Lol at the Halloween picture Grin

madcatladyforever · 19/05/2019 09:29

No because the bride should be the centre piece of thequipment day not a guest. That screams look at me not her.

Adversecamber22 · 19/05/2019 09:35

I was a guest at a wedding where they had a guest rock up in a skin tight body con full length evening gown that was backless, had a huge peep hole front so acres of cleavage and a slit almost to the thigh. It also had a skyline of New York printed round the bottom.

Not classy at all! I love the trousers and with a top like this it would look gorgeous.
The jacket is horrific.

I'm in my 30s and probably have the figure for it so it's not jealousy that I can't wear it 😂

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 19/05/2019 09:53

I wouldn't wear it to just any old wedding.

I might wear it to my own wedding if I intended to jilt the groom at the altar and wanted to sashay out the church with bad girl aplomb.

Rezie · 19/05/2019 09:57

Oh dear, I don't think anyone would want to see me trying to stuff all of me in that. Including me.

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 19/05/2019 09:59

I'd turn the trouser hems up a bit, though. I wouldn't want to trip up mid-sashay and give the groom something to snigger at.

DizzySue · 19/05/2019 09:59

Very attention seeking to wear something like that to a wedding. I feel a bit sorry for the bride and groom really, guests should dress respectfully and not try to hog all the limelight.

ChodeofChodeHall · 19/05/2019 10:02

The (lack of) feet 😂 Are they supposed to be like that?

Take the trousers up a few inches, put a nice blouse on and lose the fun fur: jobs a goodun.

cricketmum84 · 19/05/2019 10:05

Jesus Christ no!!

I might wear it to Eurovision though?

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 19/05/2019 10:09

It's actually quite difficult to find an outfit that showcases the chest and covers up the bunions.

PregnantSea · 19/05/2019 10:20

No

scratchyfluffface · 19/05/2019 10:24

No, it's awful and far too 'look at me, look at me'

Honeyroar · 19/05/2019 10:26

I know someone that did! 30 years ago at an evening reception. To this day, if you ask any of he blokes what she was wearing they can describe it to a tee! (I wasn't there, but the bride told me one day when we were talking about the lady. She thought it hilarious that her husband leered!!)

WobblyLondoner · 19/05/2019 10:38

Snort! No. Tacky, show-offy and just downright horrible.

Joke thread obviously.

UnicornBrexit · 19/05/2019 12:47

People tend to dress for weddings as though only the disco at thee nd matters. We did spend a lot of our day in "WTF is she wearing in a church" mode Grin

IsThisValidEnough · 19/05/2019 12:58

I have a friend who has worn similar style (ie lace and a bit of nip showing) to a wedding. We are both attending a mutual friend's wedding next year. Mutual friend has already asked me to make sure she doesn't come "with her nips out". I told her I absolutely cannot tell a grown woman what to wear but I am cringing inside at the mere thought of it.
