Hahaha

chipsandgin · 19/05/2019 08:35

Brilliant 😂.

I think maybe the top bit with these if you really want to make the right impression...

Xyzzzzz · 19/05/2019 08:35

No but I wouldn’t wear something like that generally.

It’s defo not wedding material for sure.

PeanutButterCheesecake · 19/05/2019 08:36

I wouldn't wear it if you paid me. Awful. Why wear a (fugly) coat if you've not even bothered to put your top on?

BeanBag7 · 19/05/2019 08:38

Yes a reverse obviously.
Sorry theres no big drama story behind it, but a guest wore something very very similar to a wedding I attended recently (this was the closest photo I could find). Her sister wore a similar outfit but white and not lacy.
I couldnt stop looking over and wondering what they were thinking, but then thought maybe its standard wedding attire for some so I came to check it out here...

Only if it was fancy dress theme of ‘Strippers’. Dear me!

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 19/05/2019 08:38

No Op

I like the look (but perhaps too much red) but its not what I would call wedding wear .

IrisAtwood · 19/05/2019 08:43

No. It’s late night clubbing wear.

pictish · 19/05/2019 08:45

Ultimately it’s harmless isn’t it? It’s not a t-shirt saying ‘fuck marriage’ or anything.
Wedding attire is often of the lacey persuasion with the tasteful lace dress/fascinator combo being a stalwart outfit. This lends itself to a pushing of the lacey envelope so to speak.

Hoppinggreen · 19/05/2019 08:49

Only if you are the bride (or groom)

Downunderduchess · 19/05/2019 08:57

Yes if it suited the type & style of wedding & the the bride would appreciate that sort of look. It's a gorgeous outfit which would look stunning on the right person. It's fashion & may not appeal to everyone but I like it from a style standpoint.

oldmum22 · 19/05/2019 08:59

So from your update, the sister of the bride wore this ?

Maybe not for me ,too many Cadbury Cream Eggs have affected my figure .

birdonawire1 · 19/05/2019 09:02

Omg no!

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/05/2019 09:02

Chipsandgin Grin

I wouldn’t. It would all depend on the type of wedding - you’d expect guests to turn up like that if you were Kardashian. Insta innit.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/05/2019 09:03

No; two guests who were sisters ( to each other)wore questionable mafia moll outfits as wedding guest attire

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 19/05/2019 09:03

Only with a vest.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/05/2019 09:05

Nancy dell’Olio once wore this to dinner at Downing Street

Was it an ‘Elvis in Las Vegas’ themed event?

bevelino · 19/05/2019 09:14

@chipsandgin, I burst out laughing when I saw your post. Where on earth did you find those trousers (if you can call them that). Grin

BeanBag7 · 19/05/2019 09:16

To be fair to her, she had a lovely figure and the outfit did suit her - just not very "weddingy" in my opinion.
It didn't really suit the type of wedding which was a fairly small traditional church wedding.

We once saw a man wearing a pair of those standing outside a nightclub. It was from behind and we could seen his hairy backside, so thank god he didn’t turn around 😵

sparklefarts · 19/05/2019 09:19

Lol that shouldn't be worn anywhere

sparklefarts · 19/05/2019 09:20

(Not because it's revealing, because it's ugly)

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 19/05/2019 09:20

Unless you are on a farm and you are wearing jeans! Makes Brokeback Mountain more interesting I guess...

Complainingagain · 19/05/2019 09:22

I wouldn't wear that anywhere. Unless I was dressing up as the devil for Halloween
