AIBU To Sit differently?

I just sat cross legged on the floor, but with my right leg as the back leg and my left leg at the front, tucked under the right. IT FEELS SO WEIRD! I now realise I've spent my whole life doing it the other way round.

AIBU in thinking I should spend the next 45 years of my life sitting in this new style to balance out the previous 45? And what would I do for the third 45 years? Or should I start rotating legs on, say, a monthly basis? If so should I allow myself to freestyle sit on bank holidays?

I hope I'm not uneven in any way now. Should I ring the NHS hotline or the coastguard or somebody to check?

I wouldn't try any new, potentially tricky moves in Cornwall. Cornwall is a peninsula. Sea on 3 sides. 3 sides to fall off.

The preferred handbag shoulder is usually your non dominant side as your writing hand shoulder slopes downwards (scholar's stoop) thus the bag strap slides off.

That sounds fairly sensible. Wait till you get somewhere safer, like Oxfordshire maybe. No where to fall off there 😁

I just spent a LONG time trying to cross my arms the wrong way. I got very confused.
But MidsomerBurgers is WRONG!
I'm also a right thumb on top girl.

Haven't tried the cross legged thing yet though.

Also, I love that fact about scholar's stoop. That is amazing. I never knew why my bag fell off my right shoulder!

I remember noticing this from a folding arms perspective when I was younger. Maybe 13 or so? Since then, I’ve trained myself to do it both ways, they both feel equally weird rather than equally normal now! Grin I can’t actually remember which way was the ‘normal’ way anymore.

I’m a left thumb on top girl and have my handbag on the right shoulder but I’m right handed. I guess I’m just different from all the other girls GrinWink

Also, high levels of background radiation.

If you balance a pasty on each shoulder, you'll be grand. I am a tad worried now though, I live in Cornwall and have so far never fallen off so am I a fully balanced well rounded person or purely lucky?

Keep holding on to one of those tin mine chimneys you get everywhere and you should be OK. I fell at the edge and survived, although possibly with a broken toe.
