AIBU to regret having a mirena coil fitted one month on?

I was having very light periods and thought going on the Mirena coil rather than copper would mean less periods or even none.

I came on at usual time and rather than 2 or 3 days I've been having over a week of stop/start light to something out of a horror movie. And my nipples are killing me

Will this get better?

Yes but you need to leave it at least 6 months to ‘settle in’ I have one and go through the same when I have it changed but it does settle after a while
