Weird question of the day:
When you get out of the shower or bath, which part of your body do you dry first second and third? I told you it was weird!!

Back, arms and chest.
Then legs and bum.
I cannot stand water on my face so I was my face before the shower and quickly as I can, then dry it before I get in the shower and shower keeping my face dry.
Hair drips dry

Face, then arms and upper body (all while still standing in the shower stall, usually). Then hair. Finally, lower half, including legs. Never actively dry my feet, as they get dry (enough) just walking around while I dry the rest of me. And then get dressed as soon as possible, as I hate standing around with no clothes on.

I did once have a nice terry bathrobe that did most of the "work" for me while I dried my hair, but for some reason, I never replaced it after it wore out...

My hair drips dry too. And also cannot stand having a wet face. Like the idea of a toweling robe to dry in. Trouble is, is that our house is do cold I'm not sure it would work :(

I've never used a towel to dry! Towelling robe all the way, you need a floor length with a hood. I spray mine with perfume and hang it over the towel rail before I go in the shower.

Miscella · 17/05/2019 22:01

I use two towels after a shower - a bath towel wrapped into a turban for my hair first then a hand towel to dry the rest of me from the top down.

I hate bath sheets, far too big and unwieldy so we just have bath towels and hand towels.

The80sweregreat · 17/05/2019 22:28

Hair, then the rest of my huge body with a big towel.

IncyWincyHider · 17/05/2019 22:32

Another one for towelling robe with hood!
I do no active drying of my body- just potter about and I'm magically dry!
It even means that on the odd occasion that I have to use a towel instead of a towelling robe (such as at a hotel), I grumble at having to dry myself!

KatyaZamolodchikova · 17/05/2019 22:36

Hair in towel then dry top down. Otherwise wet bits further up drip or run making dry bits wet again no? IF you did feet first all then they be wet again.

Ginkypig · 17/05/2019 22:59

2 bath sheets for me I have ones that are only mine!

One to pat face dry and dry neck then it's wrapped round the hair.

The other I drape over shoulders to stop the drippy shoulders then wrap it round, once I get through to sit down I dry the bottom of each leg then my feet so there's no fungus loving damp between my toes then basically sit for ten mins before I can get up again cos I'm knackered (disabled) then I make sure the knicker area is not still damp because well who likes a soggy bottom Grin and on with my pj's or clothes.

HagridsBigToe · 17/05/2019 23:07

Most of the time, I don't bother to dry, I just get dressed or into dressing gown.
If I can be arsed, or if it's cold:
Hair, then face, torso, legs/feet. Because otherwise it all drips down anyway.

Discogarden · 17/05/2019 23:27

I don't think I do really dry myself, I get out of shower/ bath, wrap myself in bath sheet sized towel and put a hand towel on my hair if I've washed it, pat my face dry and apply moisturiser in the mirror then just drop the towel and moisturise from arms to chest then down.
